The place was perfect and rooms here were decent sized. Thoroughly enjoyed the room with copper roll top bath, my bed was very comfy. The service provided there was friendly. Took the advantage of the parking onsite.
Shame the bathroom was cold.

Delicious full English breakfast made the start of our day!
Bathroom mirror is quite alarming when you sit on the toilet.

The Premium Double Room was super clean and comfy. Had a big bed that felt cozy, and the bathroom was nice too. A little noisy from the pub downstairs, but we managed. Staff were really nice, even helped with a door lock issue. Good vibes!

The Pilot Inn provided a good atmosphere with friendly staff and beautifully prepared meals. I found the belly pork a bit tough and the owner's response to feedback rather dismissive. A lovely experience at a charming pub.

Perfect for a Family Break
We stayed for two nights in this lovely spot. The breakfast was really good, and it set us up well for the day ahead. The owner was super accommodating. She even offered us our room a bit longer after checkout so we could get changed for a family event. Not to mention, the food was seriously delicious and well-presented. I could still taste that roast in my memory! It was like being with family.
It wasn't exactly bargain bin prices but honestly, worth every penny.

This place is just fab! The premium double room was comfy and super clean. The owner was so nice, let us check in early, and helped us with a door lock issue. Had an amazin breakfast that kept us full for ages. We def enjoyed our stay!
The only thing was that the pub downstairs got a bit noisy at night. Parking is a little tight, but we managed.

The Premium Double Room boasted substantial comfort with a quality bed that ensured a restful night. The setting of the inn offered a charming atmosphere that complemented the overall experience.
Parking is quite tight. Be ready to hunt for street parking nearby and keep an eye on local restrictions. The check-in time could use some flexibility as I had to wait just a bit despite my room being ready. Meals were decent, though the veggies were unreasonably tough, and breakfast choices felt limited with no continental options or more fruit varieties available.

The food at The Pilot Inn is a culinary delight, especially those scrumptious scrambled eggs that had me dreaming of breakfast all day! The staff are great, super friendly and keen to help. Plus, the comfy Premium Double Room. Can't forget to mention the great selection of beers at the bar, perfect for winding down after a day of exploring.
Only a couple of hiccups, the radiator in the bathroom wasn't functioning, so towels stayed damp, and parking was a bit of a faff, with locals taking the spaces. But all in all, it's just a wee bump in an otherwise fab stay!

I had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the big shower in the room and how they made me cheesy chips when I just wanted a snack. The garden was perfect for unwinding after a busy day, and the seating area by the bar was a great way to relax. The breakfast hours felt a bit limited for my taste, but overall, it was a wonderful experience and I'd recommend staying here if you get the chance! 😊

I recently spent a night at The Pilot Inn, and I really enjoyed the stay. The room was spacious, modern, and had all the comforts I needed, including a comfy bed and a clean bathroom. The dining experience was a highlight. Dinner options were delicious, with standout dishes like the butternut squash curry. Breakfast was also really good, keeping me full for hours. The staff were genuinely friendly, always ready to help and. But, there were a couple of downsides. The pub got noisy at night, a bit disruptive, and parking was tight. The radiator in the bathroom wasn't working well, so my towels stayed damp, annoying. A solid place for a short getaway, but could improve on some minor details.

The premium double room was fine, with a unique copper claw foot tub that added a touch of luxury to our stay. Friendly and accommodating staff were very good, and we enjoyed an excellent selection of food, including delicious pancakes that were perfectly cooked. One downside was the slight noise from outside, which disturbed our sleep at times, but overall, the comfort and aesthetics made up for it. Leaving was the hardest part of our visit.
